Walk Baltimore!
Canton is an historic east side area built up around a host of waterfront
industries from the mid nineteenth to mid twentieth centuries. Many
laborers would walk from their tidy rowhouses to the port side canneries
ands factories. As the industry faded the neighborhood has been
rehabilitated as a prime residential area. Take notice of the many unique
industrial structures being reused for offices, housing, and retail along the
way.
